get absolute file path in yosemite

After upgrading to yosemite, I didn’t find absolute path while pressing cmd + i, in this case if you want to get absolute file path in yosemite then go to the file or directory and press “cmd + c” and paste it in terminal or wherever you wish to use.  

Terminal command to navigate in Macintosh drive

Macports updating error – Yosemite terminal If you come across following error when updating macports: Error: /opt/local/bin/port: port selfupdate failed: Error synchronizing MacPorts Run the command in terminal : sudo port -v selfupdate you need to run command under the root and this will work !
